Born in Lyon, France, in 1799, Pauline experienced a miraculous healing through the intercession of Saint Philomena. In 1822, she founded La Propagation de la Foi (Propagation of the Faith), an organization dedicated to supporting foreign missions and spreading the Catholic faith.
