Aviation - Royal Air Force Coronation Review - Odiham

The Queen laughs as she watches a fly past with the Duke of Edinburgh. On her other side is the Duchess of Gloucester (in uniform as Chief Commandant of the Women's Royal Air Force), and the Duke of Gloucester (in uniform as Air Chief Marshall). The Duke of Edinburgh is in the uniform of Marshall of the RAF. Righ of Prince Philip are the Duchess of Kent and (extreme right) Princess Alexandra, aged 16. The Queen, accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh, carried out the Coronation Review of the Royal Air Force, at RAF Station, Odiham, Hampshire. With over 318 planes on the ground, and with over 600 taking part in a fly past, the review was the biggest parade of aircraft in the history of the service.
