The image features Tsar Nicholas II (1868-1918) and his family, including his wife, Alexandra Feodorovna (1872-1918), and their five children: Olga (1895-1918), Tatiana (1897-1918), Maria (1899-1918), Anastasia (1901-1918), and Alexei (1904-1918). The family is gathered in a cozy, sunlit room, with the Tsarina holding her youngest son, Alexei, in her arms. The Romanovs' story is one of tragedy and intrigue, as they were ultimately executed during the Russian Revolution in 1918.
