Poster produced for London & North Eastern Railway (LNER) to promote rail travel to Whitley Bay, Tyne and Wear. A grey-haired man gestures to a younger man with a pipe. The beach stretches out below them. Artwork by Arthur C Michael, a painter and etcher who worked mainly in watercolour or bodycolour.
