Black Flying Squirrel Collection

The Black Flying Squirrel is a species of squirrel found in the forests of Southeast Asia, and is a nocturnal animal and has large eyes to help it see in the dark. Its body is black with white patches on its back, and it has long, fluffy fur that helps keep it warm during cold nights. They are glide up to 50 meters using its patagium, which is a thin membrane between its legs that acts like wings when spread out. It feeds mainly on fruits, nuts, seeds and insects. The Black Flying Squirrel lives in tree holes or nests built by other animals such as birds or bats, and are social animals and live in groups of up to 10 individuals and are very territorial and will defend their territory from intruders with loud vocalizations or physical contact if necessary.
