Grace Etheridge and her friend Tony Mallett. Tony has been giving Grace an Easter egg every Good Friday for 30 years. This began in 1958 when Grace and Tony were working at Greys of Birmingham. Just before Easter Tony asked Grace why she was upset, she explained that it was a sad time for her as her husband had died the previous year, and he had always given her a chocolate egg on Good Friday. Much to her surprise and joy, when Good Friday arrived a few days later she received an Easter egg from Tony. He has done this every year since. 1st April 1988
