Intrepid Middlesbrough pupils paddled their own canoes in a gruelling 30 hour triathlon.
The ten boys with their teachers from Ormesby Comprehensive School hiked 30 miles, spent a night under canvas on the North York Moors, canoed to Whitby then cycled home.
Now there are plans to make the triathlon an annual event which may involve other schools.
