Youngsters from the 2nd Huddersfield Boys Brigade took to the water to raise money. Captain-elect of the group Mr Eddie Keating (right) and leader Mr Ian Parker are seen checking in the swimmers at the start of the event, which raised £ 100. They were asked to swim 25 sponsored lengths of the pool at Almondbury High School. The money will go towards the running of the group, which is based at Moldgreen United Reformed Church. 15th April 1989
