Nicola Burgin, James Shepard, Mark Traynor and Oliver Briggs were among those sponsored to tackle an obstacle course to raise money for Cowms playgroup. Some 24 youngsters and supervisors went round 15 obstacles and collected about 60 to help buy a new fire for the groups meeting hall at Cowms Methodist Chapel in Lascelles Hall Road.12th February 1987
