1966 saw the emergence in England of a band calling themselves the Small Faces. They were formed in 1965 but in 1966 they released their first album, imaginatively titled " The Small Faces". The band identified with Mod culture, taking on the stylish look and the love of American Rythm and Blues. The band began to win over a large support from their stage shows and energetic performance style. They were noticed by Don Arden, a manager, who signed them to the Decca label with whom they released their first album.
