The Antonov An-72 is a versatile, twin-engine turboprop transport aircraft, designed and manufactured by the Antonov Design Bureau in the Soviet Union. With a maximum takeoff weight of 55,000 kg and a seating capacity for up to 128 passengers, the An-72 is an essential component of military and civilian transport fleets worldwide. SSSR-72000, specifically, was one of the early production models of the An-72 series.
