A silver bride - the design of Princess Marinas wedding dress. A reproduction of the fabric design used for the wedding dress of Princess Marina of Greece for her marriage to Prince George, Duke of Kent at Westminster Abbey on 29 November 1934. The white and silver brocade embodied the English rose in the design and was so delicate, it was not sent to England until a fortnight before the wedding. The dress was designed by Molyneux, and was cut out, made and fitted at the Molyneux London salon. Date: 1934
