In this photograph from the Super Elegance de Cote d'Azur held in Nice, France, in 1931, two extraordinary women, Rosie Dolly and the Begum Aga Khan, dazzle the crowd with their exquisite attire. On the left, Rosie Dolly, also known as Mrs. Mortimer Davis, captivates in a stunning dress that graced the Hotel Negresco's halls. The Dolly Sisters, a famous cabaret act, were known for their glamour and style, and Rosie's dress, with its elegant lines and shimmering fabric, is no exception. On the right, the Begum Aga Khan, formerly Andrée Josine Carron, radiates beauty and sophistication in a breathtaking creation. Married to Aga Khan III in December 1929, she was the third wife of the spiritual leader of the Ismaili Muslims. Their union produced one son, Prince Sadruddin Aga Khan.
