This evocative photograph captures the Pool of Bethesda in Jerusalem, Palestine, during the late 1800s. The Pool of Bethesda, located in the northeastern part of the Old City, is one of the oldest and most intriguing sites in Jerusalem, steeped in biblical history and tradition.
