Eisenberg played a pivotal role in the drafting of the Wittenberg Articles, a set of doctrinal guidelines that sought to reconcile Lutheran and Catholic beliefs. Although these efforts ultimately failed, Eisenberg continued to serve as a trusted advisor to Georg, who sought to maintain a delicate balance between religious and political stability in his realm.
