The image captures the moment before or during its delivery to the Belgian Air Force, where it would serve as CP-11 with the radio call sign OT-CAK. After a brief period with the Belgian Air Force, the C-119F was returned to the USAF on September 12, 1955. Subsequently, it was converted into a C-119G by SABENA. Later in its career, the aircraft found a new home with the Royal Norwegian Air Force, where it was known as 12702/BW-H Hiawatha. The C-119F, a vital part of aeronautical transportation history, is seen here in its prime, showcasing its distinctive features and timeless elegance. Circa 1952.
