EDITORS COMMENTS

Death rises from his grave to be greeted by Liberty's torch of equality and Fraternity's embracing arms. The skeleton is adorned with symbols of justice, as three figures bestow upon him the trappings of power: a plumed cap, sword, and scales. Meanwhile, Justice stands bound and blindfolded before them, a poignant reminder that even in death's triumph there can be no true freedom.
