President Woodrow Wilson (1856-1924) was the 28th President of the United States, serving from 1913 to 1921. Known for his idealistic foreign policy, Wilson led the country through World War I and worked tirelessly to establish the League of Nations. Wilson also advocated for the creation of the League of Nations, an international organization designed to prevent future wars, but the United States ultimately did not join the League.
