This evocative photograph captures the Old Manor House pub, located in Deptford (New), London, at the corner of Deptford High Street and Manor Place. At the time, the Old Manor House was under the management of the Charrington and Company Limited, a well-known brewery in London. The Old Manor House, which can be traced back to the early 19th century, was a beloved local institution for generations. The pub's rich history is further illustrated on the reverse side of this print, which includes a trading record detailing its operation from 1933 to 1961. However, by July 2018, the pub had been transformed into flats and a restaurant, marking the end of an era.
