The Unwanted Travel Companion" - Two Men and a Dog on a Railway Platform, Early 20th Century This delightful comic postcard, dated back to the early 20th century, captures the humorous side of travel during that era. The scene on the platform is filled with anticipation and excitement, as two men, dressed in their best summer attire, are preparing for their holiday journey. One man, wearing a check jacket and holding a suitcase, checks his ticket with a porter in a smart uniform. The other man, with a bag slung over his shoulder, seems to be deep in conversation with a black dog that has somehow managed to join them on the platform.
