All-heal, Valeriana officinalis, is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Caprifoliaceae family, native to Europe and parts of Asia. The common name "All-heal" refers to its traditional use in herbal medicine for treating various ailments. This beautiful chromolithograph, created by Walther Müller and published in Hermann Adolph Koehler's Medicinal Plants, edited by Gustav Pabst in 1887, provides a detailed and accurate representation of the plant's appearance.
