This evocative photograph captures the facade of the Bath Tavern, a cherished public house located in the heart of Peckham, London. The pub, which was located at 113-115 Peckham High Street, SE15 2LW, had stood the test of time, serving its community for many years. Sadly, as of July 2018, the Bath Tavern, like so many historic pubs before it, was no more. Demolished, it now exists only in memory and in photographs like this one. The loss of such establishments is a reminder of the importance of preserving our cultural heritage and the unique character of our communities. This photograph, taken by The National Brewery Heritage Trust, is a poignant reminder of the Bath Tavern and the role it played in the lives of those who frequented it.
