The pub, a beloved local watering hole, was a staple of the Camden community for many years. The back of the print reveals the address of the pub, "Nothing for the Apollo, Camden Town, London NW1 7HY," a poignant reminder of what once was. As of July 2018, the Apollo Public House, like so many historic pubs before it, was no more. Demolished, it now exists only in memories and in photographs such as this one. The Hoare and Company Limited sign is absent from the image, a testament to the fact that this photograph was taken before the company's ownership.
