According to another photograph elsewhere in The Tatler that year, Charles Sweeny Jnr also joined the Eagle Squadron as a Pilot Officer. Mrs Sweeny was the former Miss Margaret Whigham and later, on her second marriage, the Duchess of Argyll. An unidentified officer of the Squadron is sat between the couple. Date: 1941
