Lady Patricia chose to marry one of her fathers ADCs, the Hon. Alexander Ramsay. When her father, the Duke of Connaught, eventually agreed to the marriage, the couple enjoyed the first Royal wedding to be celebrated in Westminster Abbey since the thirteenth century.
