This handcolored copperplate engraving, titled "Jupiter, Juno, and Ceres," is a stunning representation of three major deities from Roman mythology. The image, engraved by Jacques Louis Constant Lacerf after illustrations by Leonard Defraine, was published in the collection "Mythology in Prints, or Figures of Fabled Gods" by Blanchard, Paris, around 1820. At the center of the print, Jupiter, the king of the gods, is depicted in regal attire, holding a scepter and a thunderbolt.
