The Hague, Inner Court - Amsterdam The Netherlands. (Den Haag Binnenhof). It houses the meeting place of both houses of the States General of the Netherlands, as well as the Ministry of General Affairs and the office of the Prime Minister of the Netherlands. Originally built as a ballroom, the Gothic Ridderzaal (a great hall, literally Knight's Hall) today forms the centre of the Binnenhof.

Cathedral of Saint Michael and Saint Gudula, Brussels, Belgium. The Roman Catholic church was given Cathedral status in 1962. The image is colour tinted. The western fa硤e with its three portals surmounted by gables and two towers are typical of the French Gothic style, but without rose window, which was replaced by a large window in the Brabantian Gothic style.
