The objective of the game is to collect complete sets of seven different families, each consisting of a father, mother, and three children. The families are represented by distinct illustrations on the cards, and players take turns asking for specific family members to complete their sets. To begin the game, each player is dealt seven cards, and the remaining cards are placed in a draw pile. The player to the left of the dealer goes first and asks for a specific family member, such as "the blonde girl" or "the mustached father." The next player must then either fulfill the request by playing the corresponding card from their hand or must pass. Players can also play cards that do not match the request but form a set of three or more cards of the same family. The game continues until one player has collected all seven families, at which point they are declared the winner.
