Maria Louise of Austria, born on December 12, 1791, was the wife of Leopold II, Emperor of Austria from 1792 until his death in 1792. Daughter of Emperor Leopold II and Maria Ludovica of Austria-Este, Maria Louise was a member of the House of Habsburg, one of the most powerful and influential European royal families of the time. This beautiful oval medallion print captures the likeness of Maria Louise in her prime, adorned in the fashionable attire of the late 18th century.
