The 60th anniversary of the Womens Institute in Lostwithiel was celebrated with a dinner at the Restormel Lodge Hotel in the town. Cutting the cake from left to right are: Gwen Powell-Jones (Mayor), Kristen Arundel (National WI member), Doris Liddicoat (Founder Member), Ida Keast (Chairman). Special mention was made that Doris Liddicoat and Joy Foot had been county chairmen. Also two members, Doris Liddicoat and Gwen Powell-Jones, had been lady Mayors of the town.
