David George van Lennep 1712-97 Senior Merchant
David George van Lennep (1712-97), Senior Merchant of the Dutch Factory at Smyrna, and his Wife and Children, At the center in the middle are Anna Marie Leidstar and the father familias David George on a long yellow couch. Two more daughters sit snugly together at fathers feet on the Turkish carpet. The one in the blue dress is Cornelia Jacoba. Anna, wearing a yellow dress, wraps an arm around her sister and together they hold an apple. On the left in the foreground are the two oldest sons of David George. David is left with the sword in his hand.
