Known professionally as Lucile, Lady Duff Gordon was a leading designer of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, renowned for her emotional and innovative gowns that captured the hearts of women across the world. Born into an aristocratic family, Lady Duff Gordon's foray into fashion began when she designed costumes for her sister's theatrical productions.
