The Supreme Court of France has just decided that the " joy stick ", the device which controls the wings and rudder of an aeroplane, is a patent device, the property of M Esnault Pelterie. It is stated that the French Government, jointly with M Caudron, the noted aeroplane manufacturer, have been ordered to pay the inventor thirty thousand pounds.
