This historic photograph captures the jubilant moment when Neville Chamberlain, the British Prime Minister, returned to England on October 8, 1938, following the signing of the Munich Agreement with Germany. The agreement was hailed as a triumph for Chamberlain, who had promised "peace for our time" upon his return from the Munich Conference.
