Naval group, mostly relatives of Queen Victoria, including (left to right): Prince Alfred Duke of Edinburgh and Duke of Saxe-Coburg Gotha (second son); possibly Prince Leopold Duke of Albany (grandson); Edward Prince of Wales (eldest son and soon to be King Edward VII, seated); Prince Henry of Prussia (grandson); probably Prince Louis of Battenberg (grandson by marriage); Prince George Duke of York (grandson, later to be George V).
This photograph must predate 1900 when Prince Alfred passed away, handing the Duchy of Saxe-Coburg Gotha to his nephew Leopold

THE SAVOY HOTEL, The Strand, City of Westminster, London. Interior of the Pinafore Room with table laid. The theatrical impresario Richard D'Oyly Carte had the Savoy Hotel built next to his Savoy Theatre in 1889. The Theatre was home of the Gilbert & Sullivan Savoy Operas of which "HMS Pinafore" was amongst the most famous and successful. Photographed by Bedford Lemere for the proprietor in April 1893
