KELD HEAD SCAR, North Yorkshire. Aerial photograph of Kingsdale, near Thornton Force in the Yorkshire Dales. The cliffs reveal the Great Scar Limestone, which consist of a number of layers of limestone beds of varying thickness and hardness. Aerofilms Collection (see Links).

Arundel Street area, Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Some important cutlery works still survive in Arundel Street, despite the urban renewal around them. Butcher's Wheel and Sellers Wheel can be seen in the lower right hand quadrant of this aerial photograph. They were 19th-century cutlery, edge tool and file-making works, with multi-storeyed workshop ranges around a courtyard. Photographed in May 2001.

Brodsworth Hall, Brodsworth, South Yorkshire. The house was built in 1861 from the proceeds of the controversial will of Peter Thellusson who died in 1797 leaving £700, 000 to be inherited by his eldest great grandson following the deaths of all intermediate male heirs. Now a property in the care of English Heritage. Photographed in July 1999.
