Legend has it that if England were ever in peril, its rhythmic beats would summon Drake back to defend his homeland. This folklore adds an air of mystique to an already captivating image. McCormick skillfully brings this tale to life through his vibrant use of color and attention to detail. His illustration transports us into an era when sailing was not just a means for exploration but also a testament to human courage in face of adversity. 'The Song of the Sou Wester' print serves as a reminder that even amidst stormy seas and challenging times, there
