Sir Edward Fry, Judge of the High Court of Justice, 1881. Fry (1827-1918) was made a High Court Judge in 1877. He served as Judge of the Court of Appeal between 1883 and 1892, and later gained a reputation for his skill in arbitrating international disputes at the Hague.
