This print captures a significant moment in history - the Presentation of the Address in the Reception Room, 1844. The photograph showcases the grand opening of the new Royal Exchange building in the City of London, designed by Sir William Tite and officially opened by Queen Victoria herself. In this image, Her Majesty is seen seated on an elevated dais, accompanied by Prince Albert standing proudly beside her.
