Item from an exhibition of mediaeval and ancient art, in London:..cup of silver gilt, given by Henry VIII. to the Barber Surgeons Company, in 1540. It is richly embossed with ornaments, in the style of Holbein, among which occur the rose, fleur-de-lis, and portcullis.
