She pursued her education at the prestigious Royal Horticultural Society's (RHS) Wisley, where she honed her skills under the tutelage of renowned horticulturists. Marsh-Lambert's groundbreaking work focused on the cultivation and breeding of hardy ferns, a field that was then largely overlooked by her male counterparts. Her dedication and expertise led to numerous discoveries and innovations, including the introduction of several new fern species to the horticultural world.
