The Hawker Sea Fury was a carrier-borne fighter and fighter-bomber that saw active service with the Royal Navy and several other air forces around the world. Designed and manufactured by Hawker Aircraft Ltd. in the late 1940s, the Sea Fury was a significant improvement over its predecessor, the Sea Hurricane. The RAF had operated Sea Furies during the Korean War, and some were kept in reserve for training and other purposes.
