This evocative photograph captures a moment in time during the construction of the Great Western Railway (GWR) line in Treffgarne, Pembrokeshire, South Wales, in the early 1900s. Ten determined navvies, dressed in their flat caps and heavy work clothes, are seen laboriously working on the Nant Y Coy cutting.
