Vega carpio, also known as the common carp, is a species of freshwater fish that can be found in lakes, rivers, and ponds all over the world. These hardy fish are known for their ability to adapt to various environments and can thrive in both cold and warm waters, popular choice for aquaculture due to its fast growth rate and large size potential, and are often raised for food production or as ornamental fish in backyard ponds.
