The Twelve Apostles, a breathtaking natural wonder located in the Western Cape of South Africa, near the vibrant city of Cape Town. Standing tall and majestic along the coast, these towering rock formations are reminiscent of biblical tales and artistic masterpieces. As I gaze at this awe-inspiring sight, my mind drifts to Perugino's famous painting "Delivery of the Keys to Saint Peter. " Created in 1481, it depicts Jesus entrusting Peter with the keys to heaven. Just like that significant moment captured on canvas, these twelve apostles seem to hold secrets and mysteries within their rugged beauty. Moving forward in time, El Greco's artwork comes to mind.
