Dobwalls School Visit, Dobwalls, Liskeard, Cornwall. July 1993 Featured Print

Dobwalls School Visit, Dobwalls, Liskeard, Cornwall. July 1993

200 primary school children walked from Dobwalls School to spend the morning at Dobwalls Family Adventure Park as guests of proprietor John Southern, a Governor of the school. The annual free visit had fine weather and the children were able to ride the trains and explore Adventureland. Founded in 1970 by John Southern, the park was one of Cornwall's top visitor attractions, consisting of two miniature railway networks complemented by large play areas and recreational grounds, both indoors and outdoors, an award-winning art gallery and woodland walks. The park closed at the end of the 2006 season. Photographer: Jonathan Barker
