International Space Station, 2010

International Space Station (ISS), February 2010, taken from the Space Shuttle Endeavour prior to docking at the beginning of its mission to the ISS. This was mission STS-130 (8th February to 21st February 2010), which delivered the Tranquillity and Cupola modules to the ISS. Tranquillity will be used for storage, exercise and robotics. It contains advanced life support systems for recycling water and controlling the atmosphere. Cupola is an observatory module, with 7 windows, that is attached to Tranquillity. Photographed on 9th February 2010.
