"Tom Walker: A Legend on the Racing Track" From Triumph to Norton, Tom Walker's name is synonymous with speed and skill. In the 1969 Production TT, he showcased his prowess on the Triumph bike, leaving spectators in awe of his talent. But it wasn't just motorcycles that captured Tom's heart. The CJ6 0457 saw him behind the wheel of an Amilcar-Hispano Special, pushing boundaries and setting new records. The Allard J2 X Le Mans proved to be another vehicle where Tom left his mark. With CJ5 7382 as his partner in crime, he fearlessly took on every curve and corner with precision and grace. Norton became a familiar brand for Tom as well. In the Senior Manx Grand Prix of 1960, 1961, and 1962, he dominated the track astride a Norton bike like no other competitor could. Not one to rest on past victories alone, Tom continued to shine in subsequent years. The CM31 series witnessed him conquering races with GN Specials and Yushan NGs while also showcasing his skills in Frazer Nash Super Sports models. The GN Specials remained close to Tom's heart as CM31 2529 exemplified yet another triumph for this racing legend. Every race was an opportunity for him to prove himself once again. Allard J2X (CM27) and Amilcar Hispano Special (CM27) were two more vehicles that became extensions of Tom's indomitable spirit. With each race they participated in together - CM27 4758 and CM27 5406 respectively - they etched their names into racing history books forever. Tom Walker will always be remembered as a force to be reckoned with on any track or road he encountered. His passion for speed knew no bounds; it fueled every victory he achieved throughout his illustrious career.
