Volcanic lakes, New Zealand
Volcanic lakes. These are the Emerald Lakes in Tongariro National Park, on New Zealand's North Island. The Tongariro National Park is the oldest national park in New Zealand and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It contains both active and extinct volcanoes, a diverse range of ecosystems and some spectacular landscapes.
