Taylor, a name that echoes through time like the clack of snooker balls on a table. Just as famous snooker players have left their mark on the game, so too has Taylor left an indelible impression on our memories. But who is this enigmatic figure? Perhaps we can find clues in the old map of Wolverhampton from 1750 by Isaac Taylor. As I delve deeper into the mysteries surrounding Taylor, I stumble upon a circus poster from the roaring 1920s. It seems that our protagonist may have had some connection to the dazzling world under the big top. Could he have been part of Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey circus? Curiosity piqued, my investigation takes me further down this rabbit hole of puzzles and intrigue. A jigsaw puzzle depicting golfers on Prestwick golf course in Scotland circa 1914 catches my eye. Was Taylor an avid golfer or did this puzzle hold another hidden clue? But wait. Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton enter stage right - actors known for their passionate performances both on and off screen. Could it be that our elusive subject shared more than just a name with these Hollywood legends? Another circus poster surfaces, this time from Barnum & Bailey around 1912. The plot thickens as I try to connect all these disparate pieces together. Picture No. 10767981 and Picture No. 10767726 appear before me like snapshots frozen in time - moments captured forever but without context or explanation. And then there she is again - Elizabeth Taylor herself, an English-American actress from the glamorous era of the 1950s when Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer reigned supreme. But amidst all these glitz and glamour, football also finds its place in our narrative with Bolton Wanderers FC football team from 1935 making an appearance. Just when I think I've reached a dead end, Coveracks new lifeboat from 1954 emerges as a beacon of hope.
